Vir Sanghvi announces departure from NewsX

Mumbai, Jan 29: NewsX and its Chief Executive Officer, Vir Sanghvi have announced their decision to terminate their professional working relationship with effect from today.

INX News Private Limited Chairperson Indrani Mukerjea said, ''I wish Vir well in his future endeavours. NewsX is on target for a speedy launch, and we will announce a new editorial head shortly.''

Mr Sanghvi said, ''I hope that we can now put the rumours, leaks and plants of the last fortnight behind us as we have separated in an atmosphere of goodwill and amicability,'' said yesterday.

INX Media Private Limited, along with INX News Private Limited, is part of the INX Network, which recently launched 9X - a Hindi general entertainment channel and 9XM - a Hindi music channel for the youth.
