MP: Probe against municipal chairperson

Seoni (MP), Jan 29: A local court has ordered registeration of a case against the municipal council chairperson and three corporators besides conducting of an inquiry into alleged wanton changes made in the minute record of meetings.

Judicial Magistrate Thakur Das yesterday heard former deputy chairman Raja Baghel's complaint accusing Chairperson Parvati Janghela, corporators Manuchand Soni, Rajesh Sahu and Sujeet Jain of making the changes.

The probe report is to be presented by February 26.
