Presiding officers of legislative bodies to meet tomorrow

Bhopal, Jan 29 (UNI) A two-day meeting of a sub-committee of Vidhan Sabha Speakers of seven states will get underway in world-famous tourist spot Khajuraho tomorrow, official sources said today.

The meeting would be chaired by Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker and Sub-committee's President Charanjeet Singh Atwal. The meeting would discuss issues pertaining to various aspects concerning presiding officers of legislative bodies.

Delhi Vidhan Sabha Speaker Prem Singh, Kerala Vidhan Sabha Speaker K Radhakrishnan, Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha Speaker Krishnarao, Tripura Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ramendra Chandra, Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha Speaker Harvansh Kapoor, West Bengal Vidhan Sabha Speaker Hashim Abdul Halim and host Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ishwardas Rohani will take part in the meeting.
