Gold touches all-time high of Rs 11,845 per ten gm

Mumbai, Jan 29: Gold advanced to an all-time record high at Rs 11,845 per ten gm, while Silver registered a two year's high of Rs 21,080 per kg today.

Gold shot up by Rs 135 per ten gm and Silver by Rs 200 per kg from their previous close, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 21,080 (20,880) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,845 (11,710) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,895 (11,760).
