The cold northwesterly winds continued to lend a chill to the Delhi air even as clouds over the skyline led to a rise in the minimum temperature, from 2.3 degrees Celsius yesterday to 5.3 degrees Celsius, that is two degrees below normal. The chill is likely to persist for the next couple of days with the weatherman forecasting a continuance of northwesterlies over the city in the coming days. He also forecasts a drop in minimum temperature to 4 degrees Celsius tomorrow.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
