MP: Girl dies of measles in Satna

Satna (MP), Jan 28: Measles is spreading in an epidemic form in Kothi block headquarters of Satna district, claiming the life of a seven year-old girl, yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Varsha Dwivedi, official sources said today.

At least two dozen children were affected by the disease. However, the villagers did not seek medical treatment due to superstition, the sources added.
