Aban Offshore bags ONGC contract worth 657 crs

New Delhi, Jan 28: Oil and gas drilling company Aban Offshore Ltd today said that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from ONGC for deployment of drillship - Aban Ice for a period of three years.

The operating day rate for the contract is Rs 61.85 lakh and the total value of the contract is about Rs 657 crore,the company said in a statement. The company had reported 2.29 times growth in its earnings for the quarter ended December 2007.
