Villagers hospitalised due to drinking of contaminated water

Dindigul, Jan 27: As many as 20 persons were admitted in the Government Hospital at Nilakkottai taluk and the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Thummalappatti village, with complaints of vomiting and loose motion, resulting from suspected drinking of contaminated water.

According to official sources, several others were reportedly admitted to Private hospitals. Health officials had rushed to the village to find out the exact reason. Unofficial sources claimed that an elderly woman Kamatchi Ammal of the village died due to Diarrhea, last night.
