25 people injured as van overturns in AP village

Kakinada, Jan 27 (UNI) As many as 25 tribals were injured, seven of them critically, when an overcrowded van, in which they were travelling, overturned near Gandikota junction in the East Godavari agency area, today.

Police said the mishap occurred when the victims were returning to Rampachodavaram from Ramanna palem after attending a weekly shandy there. The driver lost control of the vehicle while negotiating a curve.

The injured were admitted to the Rampachodavaram Government Hospital and the critically injured were shifted to the Kakinada Government General Hospital.
