District Guardian hoists Tricolour in Pune

Pune, Jan 26: District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar hoisted the national flag and reviewed the 59th Republic Day Parade at the Shivaji nagar Police Grounds, here today.

On the occasion, 600 students from 60 schools in the city, depicted the freedom struggle of 1857, in a colourful hour long ballad. A Parade comprising battalions from the Police, fire brigade, NCC, SRPF marked the occasion.

Senior officials from the district administration including Collector Prabhakar Deshmukh and Municipal Commissioner Pravin Pardeshi were present.
