20 children suffers from illness after consuming noon meal

Karur, Jan 26 (UNI) Twenty children, all aged below five years, were suffering from illness after consuming noon meal at an ICDS Children's Centre in Ul Veerarakkiam near here yesterday.

Official sources said the children complained of nausea and vomiting after having meal and they were rushed to the hospitals at Puliyur and Karur.

While 18 children were discharged after being administered intravenous fluid at Puliyur, two others were undergoing treatment at Government hospital here, the sources added.
