Two students, teacher arrested for HM links in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 25 (UNI) Two students and a Rehber-e- Taleem (ReT) teacher were arrested in the city outskirts as the police busted a 'sleeper cell' of Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) militant outfit here in the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two youths, who were enrolled in the BA-Part 1 course of the Distance Education, University of Jammu, were arrested from their rented accommodation at Bathindi area yesterday, sources said.

A satellite phone was also recovered from the possession of duo, which was a part of HM's sleeper cell in the city to intensify its activities.

Meanwhile, a ReT teacher, identified as Sadar of Gool Gulabgarh, was arrested from Sunjwan area, the sources added.
