TVS Motor Q3 profit declines 49%

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) TVS Motor Company Ltd, one of the country's leading two-wheeler manufacturers, today said it has seen a 49 per cent decline in its net profit at Rs 5.83 crore for the third quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 11.46 crore in the same period previous year.

The Chennai-based firm, part of the TVS Group, said in a statement that its total income has decreased five per cent to Rs 896.13 crore for the third quarter ended December, 2007 from Rs 952.98 crore in the same period a year ago.
