Nobody is arrested in connection with museum theft case
Hyderabad, Jan 25 (UNI) The Cyberabad Police Commissioner Prabhakar Reddy today said nobody is arrested in connection with the State Museum theft case, as some local news channels claims that the police achieved breakthrough in the theft case by arresting some persons.
Talking to UNI on phone, Mr Reddy said ''nobody is arrested from the Cyberabad police limits in connection with the theft case. If anybody is arrested, we will let you know immediately.'' Two iron swords of three ft length, a spearhead and four mosquito net holders (silver inlaid) were stolen from the museum on January 16.
Police had already collected fingerprints of 35 employees of the museum as part of the investigation. Fingerprints of 25 vagabonds near the public gardens, where the museum was located, were also collected, police added.
