India, France to create new joint programmes in nano sciences

New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) The Indo-French Consortium of Universities has decided to create two new joint programmes in nano sciences and a master in nuclear engineering and sustainable development.

The projects were discussed in detail by French Minister of Higher Education and Research Mrs Valerie Pecresse with her Indian counterpats at a meeting of the consortium held here today.

Besides an agreement on sixty new scholarships for engineering students of schools of France was also signed in the presence of the French Minister of Higher Education and Research Mme Valerie Pecresse and Mr Kapil Sibal, Indian Minister for Science and Technology N+I is an organisation representing 70 odd reputed French engineering institutes announced by Alten, a French company, with a possibility of the company hiring the sponsored candidate for some time.
