Gold touches new peak at Rs 11,725 per ten gm

Mumbai, Jan 25: Gold recorded an all time high of Rs 11,725 per ten gm, while Silver registered a two year high of Rs 20,970 per kg today.

Gold rose by Rs 300 per ten gm and Silver by Rs 270 per kg, from their previous close, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said. Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 20,970 (20,700) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,725 (11,425) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 11,780 (11,475).
