JK: Fire in hotel at Lal Chowk, Srinagar

Srinagar, Jan 25: A fire broke out in a hotel near historic Lal Chowk, here today, a fire brigade official said.

He said the fire broke out in hotel Standard near Gurdwara.

About a dozen fire tenders from Batmaloo fire service headquarter and from other nearby fire stations were rushed to the area.

The fire was brought under control, he said, adding the cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
