Cold weather prevails in Bihar, sky remains overcast
Patna, Jan 25 (UNI) The chilly and windy weather conditions continued to prevail in Bihar for the third day today as the day's minimum temperature plumetted to 10.8 degrees Celsius.
Local Met sources said the day's maximum temparature was recorded at 14 degrees Celsius, a drop of more than two degrees since yesterday, and forecast similar cold conditions for the next 72 hours.
Though the sky remained overcast throughout the day, there was no rain. However, strong winds blew across the state and kept the mercury well below the normal level.
The relative humidity also remained at a high level, hovering between 85 and 90 per cent, the Met office informed.
