Bihar CM condoles former First Lady's death

Patna, Jan 25 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled the death of Usha Narayanan, wife of former President K R Narayanan.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister expressed shock and grief over her death and described Ms Narayanan as one of the leading figures in the fight for women emancipation.

With her death, the country had lost a prominent woman leader, who always stood for the betterment of the causes of women, particularly those living in rural India.

He also sympathised with the bereaved family.
