Ashok Leyland Q3 net up 14.21 per cent

New Delhi, Jan 25: Truck and bus major Ashok Leyland Ltd today said it has registered a 14.21 per cent hike in net profit at Rs 120.21 crore for the quarter ended December 2007, as compared to Rs 105.25 crore during the same period a year ago. Total income has seen a jump of 3.35 per cent in the third quarter of this fiscal at Rs 1,843.78 crore, against Rs 1,783.94 crore over the same period last year, the company said in a statement.
