Reliance Energy wins metro project worth Rs 2,500 cr

New Delhi, Jan 24, 2008 : Reliance Energy Ltd won a railway project worth Rs 2500 crore from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, in consortium with Spain's CAF.

The estimated project cost is around 25-bln rupees. Reliance Energy reported that the 22.7 km rail link, which will connect New Delhi's railway station to the airport through Connaught Place, will be operational by July 2010.
