Spl Lok Adalats for settling compoundable criminal cases
Chandigarh, Jan 24 (UNI) Haryana State Legal Services Authority, has decided to hold Special Lok Adalats for settling compoundable criminal cases including cases under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 on March 1, 2008 in all the Districts and Sub-Divisional Judicial Courts in the State.
While stating this here today, the Member Secretary of the Authority, Mr. Arun Kumar Tyagi said that these Special Lok Adalats would be held on the direction of Mr. Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court and Executive Chairman of Haryana State Legal Services Authority.
A communication had been sent to all the District&Sessions Judges-cum-Chairmen, District Legal Services Authorities in the State and other officials concerned.
