Paswan's LJP to protest Mayawati's misrule in UP
Lucknow, Jan 24 (UNI) Union Chemicals Minister Ramvilas Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party(LJP) today announced the launch of a state-wide agitation in Uttar Pradesh from February 5 to protest the misrule of the Bahujan Samaj Party government in the state.
Party spokesperson Rajkumar Ojha in a statement here today alleged that the Mayawati government was misusing government funds to benefit industrialists through several anti-people projects like the Ganga Expressway.
The LJP leader said the atrocities against Dalits had increased in the present regime, while all the welcome schemes launched by the previous government had been stopped.
He said that during the agitational programme, demonstrations and dharna would be held at all the district headquarters and the government would be warned to mend their ways.
