Gemini Communication Q3 up 76 pc

Hyderabad, Jan 24: Gemini Communication Ltd (GCL)today announced the company earned a net profit of Rs 8.06 crore in the third quarter, an increase of 76 per cent from last year.

The revenue stood at Rs 52.91 crore, an YoY increase of 17 per cent with EBITDA growing at 134 per cent to Rs 13.40 crores. In a statement, Gemini Communications Ltd Chairman and MD Vijay Kumar said,''We continue to maintain our growth momentum as we enter 2008. ''Q3 is traditionally a moderate quarter due to holiday season but this quarter we saw a lot of activity. GCL bagged two major deals and our revenue growth was 17 per cent YoY.

''We were able to maintain robust growth and our fundamentals for 2008 remain very strong.''
