Cold breeze blows over state, rain in several districts
Kolkata, Jan 24 (UNI) Weather in the state remained generally cold, with rainfall in certain districts of North Bengal.
Alipore Met officials said there was possibility of heavy rainfall in northern parts of the state in the next 48 hours.
The maximum temperture in the city was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperature was recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius.
Very light rainfall was recorded in the city, while Birbhum, Bolpur districts and parts of Nadia experienced light to heavy rainfall throughout the day.
The maximum relative humidity was pegged at 83 per cent, Met department informed.
Sky will remain generally cloudy for the next 24 hours and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 14 degrees Celsius.
