Washington, Jan 24 : Britney Spears' request for an emergency hearing did not turn out to be fruitful as there has been no change in the suspension of her visitation rights to her children.

After the quick hearing, the court commissioner, Scott M. Gordon, said that the suspension would not be lifted before the next hearing on Feb 4.

"The previous custody orders under which Britney Spears has no access to the children remains in effect. Ms Spears has no custody or visitation rights at this moment," Usmagazine.com quoted L.A. County Court Public Information Officer Alan Parachini, as saying.

Britney arrived nearly 25 minutes late for the hearing and half an hour later, after going through the security checkpoint, Spears wanted to leave the premises and split without even entering the courtroom, reports E!Online.

Her absconding from the courtroom even left her attorney, Anne Kiley, surprised. hen asked by Court Commissioner, if the 26-year-old singer will be present for the hearing Kiley said: "I don't know. I don't want to delay the hearing."

However, K-Fed was in time for the hearing accompanied by his attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan.

"When you're trying to convince a judge that previous orders are not necessary, the court has to have the opportunity to observe, to hear from and to assess the demeanor of the person. I'm here personally ready to go whether the other party appears or not," said Kaplan outside the court.

Parachini said that the 29-year-old rapper was cordial while testifying and he replied quite briefly to the questions he was asked.

"It depends on what you call testimony. A couple of questions were posed to Mr. Federline, sitting at a counsel table, and he responded very briefly-as in one or two words-to the questions he was asked," said Parachini.

According to sources Spears initially planned to ask Gordon to restore her visitation rights for sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. She was deprived off her visitation rights Jan. 4, the morning after her forced hospitalization and hours-long custody standoff with police, in which she refused to hand over her children to Federline's bodyguard.
