3 Lashkher militants arrested in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 24 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested three Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militants in north Kashmir, a senior police officer said.

Superintendent of Police, Handwara, Dr Haseeb Mughal said acting on a specific information police arrested a LeT militant Abdul Gani Khoja at Udipora.

Two kg of RDX and 14 rounds of AK 47 rifle were recovered from his possession, he said adding Gani was working with the LeT.

Dr Mughal said two more LeT militants Ashiq Hussain Parray alias Mudasir and Mushtaq Ahmad Firdous were arrested at Kralgund.

The militants confessed that they were working as couriers and providing shelter to militants.
