Lawyers stage demonstration demanding family court

Kendrapada, Jan 22 (UNI) Lawyers of Kendrapara Bar Association today resorted to an indefinite strike and staged demonstration before the court here demanding establishment of a family court.

Work in all the courts were paralysed following the agitation.

The lawyers also demanded the district Judge court in the Kendrapara district, Kendrapara District Bar Assocaition president Suresh Chandra Nayak said.

Mr Nayak said the stir would continue till the government consider their demands.

He said the lawyers had expressed their resentment when Kendrapada was not included in the list of establishment of four family courts in the state.
