CBI presents challan in local court on 5 JK officials

presented
challans
in
local
courts
against
five
officials
involved
in
embezzlement
and
fraud
cases.
A spokesman of the CB said a challan in embezzlement case was presented in the court of law for judicial determination against three officials in Block Development Office (BDO), Shangus, including then accountant officer Mohammad Amin Shah and Abdul Majid Ganai.
He said during investigation both officials were found to have involved in embezzled Rs 65003 from GP fund of other officials and some excess with drawals, which put the state exchequer to wrongful loss for their pecuniary benefits.
In another case, charge-sheet has been framed against Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Tantray, Abdul Rashid Khawaja and Mohammad Ashraf Kar for alleged forgery.
The accused Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Tantray had secured appointment as constable in Jammu and Kashmir Police by producing fake qualification certificate prepared and issued by two other accused.
