Call money opens high at 08.00-08.25 per cent

Mumbai, Jan 23 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates today opened high at 08.00-08.25 per cent against the previous close of 06.00-06.25 per cent, due to better buying support by lenders in the view of tight liquidity funds at the domestic market.

During the intra-day trading, it touched a high of 08.50 per cent and a low of 7.25 per cent. However, activity was restricted with cautious dealing, brokers added.
