ICICI reports 35 pc increase in net profit in Q3

New Delhi, 19 Jan, 2008 : ICICI Bank, the country's biggest private lender on January 19th reported a 35% jump in its net profit in the third quarter this fiscal.

The profit was reported at Rs 1,230 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 when compared with Rs 910 crore in the same period a year ago. The total income also reported an increase of 36% in the October-December quarter. The increase was reported at Rs 10,338 crore from Rs 7,581 crore in the same period a year ago.
