British PM keen on strengthening ties with India

New Delhi, Jan 20, 2008 : After arriving in Indian capital New Delhi on January 20th, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said that Britain is keen on strengthening economic relationship with India.

The British Prime Minister is on a two-day state visit to India aiming to improve business ties and enhancing cooperation on climate change and counter-terrorism. This is the 4th India-UK Summit since the comprehensive strategic partnership between India and the UK was launched in September 2004.
