A Division Bench comprising Justices J B Koshy and K Hema posted the case to January 29.

The petition, filed by T P Nandakumar, the chief editor of 'Crime' magazine, prayed for a direction to the CBI to expedite the investigation in the case and complete it within a time-frame, to be fixed by the court.
