Raj govt decides to organise state level Republic Day at Ajmer

Jaipur, Jan 22 (UNI) Rajasthan government will celebrate the 59th state level Republic Day function in Ajmer this year.

Governor SK Singh will hoist the tricolour and inspect the guard of honour by the various wings of the state police at the state level function organised in Ajmer while Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be present on the occasion.

The governor will leave for Ajmer a day before and will return to Jaipur on January 26. He will host the customary 'At Home' function at Raj Bhawan in Jaipur on Jan 26.

A meeting of the cabinet will also be held in Ajmer on January 24 on the eve of the Republic Day function, a government release said.
