Macca resumes divorce negotiations with Mills

Washington, January 22 : Sir Paul McCartney has restarted negotiations with his estranged wife Heather Mills because he does not want their private life to be discussed in the divorce court.

A source has revealed that the former 'Beatle' telephoned Mills "three or four" times in the last week so that they could settle their divorce out of court, ahead of their scheduled hearing in February.

The first move that McCartney made to this effect was to send his lawyers at Paynes Hicks Beach with the message "Paul's ready to talk", added the source.

It is said that the singer is afraid that discussions on intimate details of his four-year marriage to Mills, including allegations of domestic violence, might have a bad impact on the couple's four-year-old daughter Beatrice.

"One of the chats went on for at least 15 minutes, which is the longest they have spoken to one another in months and months," Contactmusic quoted the source as telling the Daily Mail.

"It seems that the mood has definitely changed and they are both now ready to resolve things more sensibly," the source added.
