Globsyn launches India Konnects, signs JV with Konnects Inc,US

Kolkata, Jan 22 (UNI) Globsyn Innoventures, in association with Konnects Inc, US, today launched India Konnects, a first-of-its-kind professional and business networking portal in the country.

India Konnects(www.indiakonnects.com) aims to cater to working professionals and business community and provides them with a platform to network and leverage business opportunities globally.

Globsyn Innoventures also signed a joint venture agreement with Konnects Inc for setting up Globsyn Konnects Ltd, a professional and business networking portal company, to offer products for the ever increasing internet users in the country.

India has more than 38.5 million internet users and an e-commerce market of Rs 11.8 billion, which is likely to touch more than 50 million internet users and an e-commerce market of over Rs 23 billion in 2007-08.

Speaking on the occasion, Globsyn Group Chairman Bikram Dasgupta said, ''For a while, India has been waiting for a networking portal that would be used not only to connect with different people professionally but also communicate business.
