Variant forms of life through canvas

Lucknow, Jan 21 (UNI) An art exhibition displaying varied aspects of life on canvas was inaugurated at the Lalit Kala Academy here today.

Kanpur based artist Shikha Agnihotri's used oil colours in her paintings. Although, the exhibition was based on environment, the artist also tried to enlighten people about energy conservation through her artworks.

'Tandav Nritya' by Lord Shankar and Laughing Bhuddha paintings were receiving rapturous applause from the audience.

Few paintings on Ram Setu were also getting enthusiastic response from the people.

The event would conclude on January 24.
