Sampath takes over as secretary deptt of chemicals

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) V S Sampath today took over as the Secretary of Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals.

According to an official release issued here, Mr Sampath is a 1973 batch officer of the Indian Administrative Service of the Andhra Pradesh Cadre.

He was the Director General National Institute of Rural Development, Hyderabad, before taking up the new assignment.
