Police open fire in MP town

Dewas, MP, Jan 21 (UNI) Police fired in the air today to disperse a violent mob that was agitated over the murder of a person here.

Police said the situation deteriorated at Patti Bazaar area when Irfan's body was brought home after post mortem. He was killed and five were injured yesterday after two groups of the same community clashed over child's dispute.

Irfan's sympathisers pelted stones at the accused's residence and attempted arson demanding the evacuation claming the houses was Wakf Board property.

Irfan's group clashed with prime accused Munna and his loyalists.
