LS Speaker Somnath Chatterjee congratulates ISRO

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of Polaris, the radar-imaging remote-sensing satellite, by a "core-alone" Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota, this morning.

In a message, Mr Chatterjee complimented the scientists and officials of the ISRO for their splendid achievements in the field of space research.

He hoped that with yet another successful commercial launch in its kitty, ISRO would be able to garner its due share in the international satellite launch market.
