LS Speaker congratulates the ISRO

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for the successful launch of Polaris, the radar-imaging, remote-sensing satellite, by a "core-alone" Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV).

In a statement here today, Mr Chatterjee complimented the scientists and officials of ISRO for their splendid achievements in the field of space research. The Lok Sabha Speaker also hoped that with yet another successful commercial launch in its kitty, ISRO would be able to garner its due share in the international satellite launch market.
