Kotak Mahindra Q3 up 124 per cent to Rs 101.6 cr

New Delhi, Jan 21: Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd today said its net profit increased a whopping 124 per cent to Rs 101.6 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 45.4 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Its total income has increased 96 per cent to Rs 887.19 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 452.53 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Group's consolidated results showed its net profit at Rs 363.73 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 169.57 crore for the third quarter last year. Total Income has increased to Rs 2,482.7 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 1,190.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
