HDFC posts 45.23 per cent increase in its net profit

New Delhi, Jan 21: HDFC Bank Ltd today posted an impressive 45.23 per cent increase in its net profit to Rs 429.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 295.64 crore for the same period last year. Its total income has increased 64.35 per cent from Rs 2072.23 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 to Rs 3405.79 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
