CALSOFT net grows despite currency fluctuation

Chennai, Jan 21 (UNI) California Software Company Limited (CALSOFT) today announced its revenues for first nine months of FY08 grew 37.5 per cent to Rs 172.18 crore compared to Rs 125.24 crore in the same period last year.

Consolidated revenues for Q3FY08 grew 33 per cent YoY to Rs 57.26 crore (Rs. 43.04 crore), a company release said here.

Profit and EPS growth-quantum acceleration continued with consolidated net profits for first nine months of FY08 at Rs 11.32 crore as against Rs 1.35 crore in the same period last year.

For Q3 FY08, the consolidated Net Profits at Rs 4.30 crore showed a very healthy growth YoY over the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal (Rs 0.02 crore).

The profit numbers could have been higher but for currency fluctuations which adversely impacted profits by about Rs 2.50 crore during the nine-month period, it said.
