Bharat Forge Q3 net slips 8%

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) Bharat Forge Ltd today said its net profit slipped 7.51 per cent to Rs 58.17 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 62.9 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its total income has, however, increased 16 per cent to Rs 572.29 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 493.3 crore in the same period last year.

The Group's consolidated results posted a net profit of Rs 70.95 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 76.95 crore in the same quarter last year.

Total Income has increased to Rs 1,099.43 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 from Rs 1,037.09 crore in the same quarter last year.
