Another MLA resigns from Nagaland Assembly

Kohima, Jan 21 (UNI) Ahead of the March five Assembly elections in Nagaland, another Legislator Deo Nukhu, from the Chizami constituency under Phek district, resigned from the Assembly.

In a letter to the Speaker, Mr Nukhu stated that it was not possible for him to continue as member of the Assembly under the present political conditions, official sources said here today.

Following his resignation yesterday, the strength of the 60-member Assembly has been reduced to 40.
