39 chargesheeted in BPSC scam

Patna, Jan 21 (UNI) The State Vigilance Investigation Bureau today submitted supplementary chargesheet against 39 people before the Special judge in the case relating to irregularities committed in limited competitive examination, conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) in 2003.

The supplementary chargesheet was submitted before the designated vigilance judge S K Panwar by the bureau.

All 39 chargesheeted people were beneficieries.

The bureau had also submitted the chargesheet against several higher officials, including the chairman of BPSC in the case.

According to the charges, in connivance with the BPCC officials, forgery, cheating and other irregularities and illegalities were committed in the conduct and result of limited competitive examination, 2003, conducted by BPSC for the appointment of 184 Deputy Collectors.
