3 held, 120 kg ganja seized

Tirupati, Jan 21 (UNI) Police arrested three persons and seized about 120 kg of ganja at central bus stand here today.

Police said ACTING on tip-off, a special team arrested the trio and seized 120 kg of ganja concealed in gunny bags.

The trio were waiting to board a bus to Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

The arrested were Dharmalingam (33), Vachappa (32) and Deyeevam (32) all belonging to Madurai.

On interrogation, it was revealed that the contraband was bought from Khammam in Andhra Pradesh, police added.
