Rains or snow likely in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, J

Pune, Jan 20 (UNI) Cold wave conditions prevailed in Haryana, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, north Rajasthan and at isolated places in Kutch and Rayalaseema.

Rains or snow are likely to occur at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Uttarakhand.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Saurashtra, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, interior Karnataka and of Kerala and were below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh and in remaining parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and of interior Karnataka.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Assam and Meghalaya and in some parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh and eastern parts of Chattisgarh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and also in Nicobar and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and Andaman .

Very light rains or snow have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rains or snow have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Lakshadweep.
