Newly born baby dumped, partially eaten by dogs
Gangtok, Jan 20 (UNI) The body of a newly-born baby was partially devoured by dogs after it was dumped besides a pig shed at Namchi, South Sikkim around 100 kms away from Gangtok.
A local resident, Dorjee Sherpa, discovered the body this morning at Namchi bazaar and informed the police.
Namchi police recovered the body, parts of which had already been mutilated by dogs, during the night.
Police had kept the body at the Namchi hospital morgue and registered a case of unnatural death.
